Huddersfield boss Rick Stone has made one change to his 19-man squad as the Giants look to make it two wins from two this Thursday night.
Injured Tom Symonds will make way for the returning Sam Rapira as the Giants look to build momentum following last weeks 16-28 win over Widnes.
Symonds had mixed fortunes during the team’s first game in Super League XXII. The forward first got his name on the scoresheet but then picked up a knee injury which will see him miss the first home game of the season.
Salford come into this game making two changes to the squad which lost 16-26 to Wigan last week. Jordan Walne and Josh Wood are out as Josh Jones and Logan Tomkins make the trip to West Yorkshire.
An encouraging second half performance against the current Super League champions will give Ian Watson’s side a lot of confidence heading into Thursday’s game.
Even though this is only the second game of the season, it could very well turn out to be a crucial one as both of these sides look to avoid another appearance in the Qualifiers. With that in mind, it will be very interesting to see how they both approach this fixture.
