Leeds United will be looking for a third straight victory when they take on Preston North End on Boxing Day.
Around 5,500 fans are expected to make the journey to the Deepdale stadium as Leeds look to put more pressure on the top four.
Gary Monk’s side will be aiming for their third straight win in the Championship and could have their top striker, Chris Wood, back in the side for Monday’s game.
Defender Charlie Taylor and forward Pablo Hernandez are also expected to be fit however, midfielder Eunan O’Kane is set to miss the next two matches through injury.
Former Leeds striker, Jermaine Beckford and fellow Preston forward, Eoin Doyle, both return from their suspensions. The pair were sent-off following an altercation during Preston’s 2-1 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday.
Simon Grayson’s side have enjoyed a good run of form while the two forwards have been away. Two wins from three leaves Preston in 11th place, only five points away from a play-off place.
Grayson is a well-known figure among Leeds supporters following a four-year spell in charge of the club. During that time, the 47-year-old led the Whites to promotion from League One and narrowly missed out on a play-off place in the Championship.
