League Leaders Head For Nethermoor

by Jamie Woodhouse

Top of the table Lincoln City travel to Guiseley in this Boxing Day National League clash.

The Imps have not lost in the league since September and occupy top spot in the division, two points clear of Tranmere, with a game in hand.

Guiseley meanwhile remain stranded in the relegation zone in 22nd, five points from safety.

The Lions however are undefeated in their last four National League games, picking up six points from a possible twelve.

Speaking to Guiseleyafc.co.uk , manager Adam Lockwood said: “I think they (Lincoln) are a great side, they will give us more of a test in certain areas.

“It will definitely be a tough couple of games over the Christmas period.

“I’m asking for consistency and standards we set to be met as much as possible, and at the moment we are doing. Sometimes results come for you and sometimes they don’t.

“It will be a very good test for us to see just how far we have actually come.”

KO: 3pm, Nethermoor.
