Garry Monk’s side are currently fifth in the Championship after winning four out of their last five league games.
Pontus Jansson is expected to make his return after missing the mid-week cup game with Liverpool through illness. Eunan O’Kane was taken off early during the loss at Anfield but the midfielder is expected to be fit for the clash with Villa.
Liam Bridcutt won’t be available for Saturday’s game but is scheduled to return to training this coming Monday. Meanwhile, Pablo Hernandez might have to wait a bit longer for his comeback.
Former Leeds United striker, Ross McCormack is unlikely to start for the Villains as he continues to recover from an ankle injury. The 30-year-old spent four years at Elland Road and scored over 50 goals for the club.
Nathan Baker is also expected to miss the trip to Leeds as Steve Bruce’s side look to continue their impressive run of results.
Villa are unbeaten in their last seven games and will be looking to extend that run when they take on Leeds for the first time since 2004.
