Keighley Cougars have today announced that Nathan Graham will be joining the team as the new assistant coach.
The 1997 Super League winner joins Craig Lingard’s backroom staff for the 2017 season. The appointment comes following the departure of Adam Mitchell, who was the former assistant coach.
Graham played alongside Lingard at Batley Bulldogs and now the pair reunite as they look to take Keighley to new heights.
Craig Lingard was appointed as the head coach a couple of months ago and since then has made a number of signings ahead of the upcoming 2017 season.
Graham is sure to bring a lot of experience to the team following his spells with Bradford Bulls, Featherstone Rovers and even the Scottish national side.
The Cougars have also announced that Rikki Sheriffe has agreed a new deal with the club which will see him in a player/ coach position.
Sheriffe will join Craig Lingard’s backroom staff as he becomes the new development coach.
The centre has made 34 appearances since joining the club in 2015. During that time, Sheriffe has scored 16 tries.
