Junior Moors has signed a two-year extension with Castleford Tigers which will keep him at the club until at least 2019.
The Samoan international delighted fans with his recent performances and signs the new deal following a successful season at the Mend-A-Hose Jungle.
During the club’s annual presentation evening, Moors picked up three awards including Fans Player of the Year, Players Player of the Year and Player of the Year.
The forward has spent most of his career in the NRL and joined Castleford in 2015 from Melbourne Storm. Fans will be hoping that Moors can maintain his good form when the new season begins in 2017.
However, while one of the club’s current stars extends his stay, two of the club’s youngsters will be moving on loan.
Will Maher and Tom Holmes will be joining Championship side, Batley Bulldogs, for the 2017 season.
The deal includes a call back option should the injury situation worsen at Castleford. Head coach, Daryl Powell, will be hoping the pair can benefit from their spell at the club.
