Preparations for the International test with France and the Four Nations tournament have began with the naming of the 10 man train-on squad.

Out of the ten individuals, nine represent West Yorkshire clubs. Jermaine McGillvary and Leroy Cudjoe both have been selected from the Huddersfield Giants squad while Luke Gale is the sole representative of the Castleford Tigers.

The six other players who will wave the flag for West Yorkshire, all come from Leeds Rhinos. Despite an underwhelming campaign, it’s the 2015 treble winners who dominate the list.

Kallum Watkins, Ryan Hall, Brett Ferres, Stevie Ward, Tom Briscoe and Zak Hardaker all come in to the squad as England Wayne Bennett prepares his squad for the upcoming fixtures.

The big challenge for Bennett will be the Four Nations tournament. The full 24 man squad will be announced on Monday with the competition set to start on the 28th of October.
