Since joining Featherstone Rovers in 2013, Jamie Cording has been heavily involved with the club’s foundation, working as the Community Development Officer.
Now, the 26 year old is embarking on a new path as he becomes the Community Manager at the Foundation. Speaking about his new role, Jamie said:
“After signing with the club in 2013, I have gained invaluable experience and have added many different strings to my bow. I have enjoyed the sports coaching and teaching in particular and it has shaped a career plan for me.”
The Featherstone Rovers Foundation is a charity which works in the local area. It is the official charity of Featherstone Rovers RLFC and Cording, who has played for the team since 2013, is excited about his new position. He said:
“Taking on this new and challenging role, I am excited to add to the fantastic work the foundation already do, and work with the surrounding community to the best of my ability.”
