aside Super 8s: Wakefield Trinity Wildcats 20:00 Hull FC Preview

Wakefield head coach, Chris Chester, makes just one change as the Wildcats prepare to host the Challenge Cup winners.

Chris Chester has recalled youngster James Batchelor to his 19 man squad. His return means that Jacob Miller will miss the home game with Hull FC.

The visitors head coach, Lee Radford, is forced to make two changes for the trip to West Yorkshire. Mark Minichiello and Frank Pritchard are both injured and are sidelined for Thursday’s big game.

In their place, Lee Radford has brought in Iafeta Palea’aesina and Curtis Naughton. The pair will be hoping to get their side back on track following two straight defeats.

Hull FC fans will be hoping that their side quickly recovers from their Wembley hangover and take all two points from Belle Vue.

Wakefield have enjoyed a successful season this year. Not only did the Wildcats qualify for the Super 8s, but they also made it all the way to the Challenge Cup semi-final.

Recently however, things haven’t been so good at the West Yorkshire club. The Wildcats are currently without a win in over two months. During that period, Wakefield have lost seven games in succession.

Chris Chester and his side will be hoping to turn things around and end the season on a high however, picking up points against Hull FC and St. Helens will be no easy feat.

You can catch this game live on Sky Sports 1 from 20:00.
