Leeds United take on bottom of the league Blackburn Rovers in what feels like a must-win game for manager Gary Monk.
Following last week’s 1-0 defeat to Huddersfield, Leeds currently sit 22nd in the league. Tonight, the Whites take on a side which has made a similarly bad start to season and the weight of expectation couldn’t be greater on Gary Monk.
Leeds are still winless at Elland Road and Monk is expected to make a number of changes ahead of tonight’s game with Blackburn.
One of those is Eunan O’Kane whose in line to make his Leeds debut. Kemar Roofe, Pablo Hernandez and Ronaldo Vieira could also be brought back into the team as fans await that elusive first home win.
Gaetano Berardi is still unavailable after picking up a hamstring injury in the opening game of the season. The defender is expected to make a return sometime this month.
Tonight’s visitors will be without defender Charlie Mulgrew. The Scottish international picked up an ankle injury during the teams draw with QPR.
Owen Coyle’s side have a good recent record at Elland Road and will be looking to win their first game of the season.
The game kicks off at 19:45.
