David Fifita returns to the team following a one-game suspension. Chris Chester also recalls Mikey Sio as the Wildcats look to win their first game in nearly two months. The two men who will miss out are Scott Moore and Jordan Crowther.

Wakefield’s last victory came in July when they defeated the Catalans 28-30. Laurent Frayssinous and his side will be looking for redemption when they travel to Belle Vue this Friday.

The Catalans make three changes for the visit to West Yorkshire. Jordan Sigismeau, Alrix Da Costa and Paul Seguier all come into the team as Romain Navarrete, Morgan Escare and half-back Lucas Albert all miss out.

While both teams are both out of contention for a play-off place, there is still a lot at stake.

Despite Wakefield’s relatively successful season, their recent form has been far from what they are capable of. They will be hoping to end the season on a positive note and a win against the Catalans would certainly help.

The Dragons meanwhile, are in a dog fight with the Castleford Tigers for the 5th place in the Super 8s table. A win over the Wildcats will put the French side three points ahead of their rivals.
