Rohan Smith has included three debutants in his 19 man squad ahead of Sunday’s trip to Cumbria.
Academy players Josh Rickett, Liam Kirk and Reiss Butterworth have all been included in Rohan Smith’s 19 man squad. The Bradford Bulls head coach has also recalled Ross Oakes who is set to make his third appearance of the season.
Dane Chisholm, Danny Williams, Joe Lumb and Kris Welham are all rested as the Bulls prepare for the Championship Shield semi-final.
Sunday’s opponents, Workington Town, face relegation following a 62-0 defeat to the Sheffield Eagles last week.
Despite Workington’s difficult predicament, the Bulls head coach Rohan Smith doesn’t think that complacency will affect his side. He said…
“I don’t think its important where we are or where they are. It’s a matter of who wants to roll up their sleeves and battle hard on the day.”
“Obviously with a couple of debutants and a few other younger kids in the team, its a big occasion and a lot of the senior players are excited about the opportunity to help the future of the club.”

Bradford Bulls have won 5 games from 5 in the Championship Shield and have recently strengthened their squad with the signing of Ross Peltier.
When speaking about his new signing, Smith said:
“I’m really excited to have him on board. I felt like we needed a few more big players in our group. We’ve got plenty of work to do with Ross but he’s got some roar ingredients there to work with.”
Bradford have two remaining games before the semi-finals begin. Apart from their trip to Workington, the Bulls will also host the Sheffield Eagles at Odsal next week.
