Leeds United captain Sol Bamba has had his contract terminated by mutual consent, and has left the club due to personal reasons.
Bamba had made a shaky start to the season for the whites and had not featured in any of the clubs last 3 matches. He joined Leeds on loan in January 2015 from Italian Serie A side Palermo. His deal would then be made permanent in July.
The Ivory Coast international made 56 appearances for Leeds, scoring 5 goals.
Leeds are currently 21st in the championship, with only 4 points from their first 5 games.
