Chris Chester makes six changes to his squad as they prepare for the big derby game with Castleford Tigers.

Tom Johnstone, Anthony Tupou, Scott Anderson, Mickael Simon and Jordan Crowther are all recalled to the Wakefield WIldcats 19 man squad.

They will replace Ben Jones-Bishop, Mikey Sio, Jason Walton, David Fifita, Judah Mazive and James Batchelor who all miss out following Wakefield’s 40-8 defeat to Widnes.

Daryl Powell makes one change to his Tigers squad with Jake Webster returning to the team. He replaces Frankie Mariano who will miss the remainder of the season with a rib injury.

The Wildcats have lost 5 consecutive games in all competitions and face a Castleford side which has picked up two wins out of their three games in the Super 8s so far.

The two wins for Castleford came against Wigan and league leaders Hull FC. They were narrowly beaten by Warrington two weeks ago but they are sure to give Wakefield a tough test at the Mend-A-Hose Jungle.

A day before the big game, Castleford Tigers Ladies will host a team meeting on Thursday at 7pm at the Bootroom pub (opposite the Mend-A-Hose Jungle). Anyone who wants to play for the new team can attend the meeting.
