Batley Bulldogs welcome Huddersfield Giants to the Fox’s Biscuits Stadium as they search for their first win in The Qualifiers.
Pat Walker returns to the Batley Bulldogs squad after recovering from an injury. His return means that Joe Chandler drops out of the team, making it the only change to the team which lost 76-16 to the London Broncos.
Huddersfield prop Josh Johnson will miss the trip to Batley after being left out of the squad. Instead, Tom Symonds comes into the team after being recalled by the head coach, Rick Stone.
Danny Brough will miss the game as he serves the second of his two game suspension.
Batley and Featherstone currently occupy the bottom two places in the middle 8s. Despite being the overwhelming underdogs in The Qualifiers they will certainly want to make an impact. Getting a good result against Huddersfield would definitely make that impact.
Huddersfield are currently fifth after picking up one win and one loss in these middle 8s. A win at Batley would take them into the top 4 which is where they want to be if they want to maintain their Super League status.
